What I’d wish for the world:
01. Happiness within, not derived from material possessions nor approval from people you don’t even know, numbers on the scale, how much/little you place in between those pretty lips of yours, whether or not you’ve a date on valentines day, or how many people remembers your birthday. If you’re truly happy, you truly are.
02. That how people are drawn to each other (beyond the superficial level) ain’t the best judgement of how good of a person you are. I’ve the pleasure of having passing girlfriends close to my heart at certain points of my life. And right now, I’ve just the precious few, lesser than the fingers on one palm, that I can call the loves of my life. But sometimes I’m drawn to a certain individual because of the same things we’ve been through, because of the fact that we’re at the same place at the moment.. And if I’m not closer to the rest, it doesn’t mean they mean less to me. Gravity hence, shouldn’t cloud your judgement of my love for you. Love is love, it transcends fleeting acts/words. I’m here, for good.
03. I wish everyone would know how much getting fit and responsible for your health can change your life, on the outside and the inside. It saddens me greatly that I’m in the era where sticks and bones are glorified. Just take a look at the number of tumblrs worshiping sticks for legs. There’s NOTHING wrong, and I know you can tell me to close the windows. But it’s WHAT’s doing to the girls of our era that’s saddening me.
Scroll down your fb friend list. Tell me that there isn’t a girl, maybe 3, maybe 5.. maybe more, that hasn’t had an eating disorder, or think that random spurts of laments to head to the gym will suffice for a temporary vanity void. So perhaps I’ve never had the discipline to pass up a good brownie, maybe 2. But that’s it. I love my life too much to know that if I want to enjoy every opportunity that passes my way, it’s through being disciplined with keeping that heart pumping, and knowing your moderations when it comes to your diet. I may be slightly excessive with my efforts at times, but it’s because feeling good from working out is crazily ADDICTIVE. My fit ninja darlings would know what I mean. :)
And of course I know what it’s like trying to shape that purrfect bubble butt for that oh-so-cute guess daisy dukes. ;> (slutty winks) But hey, do it the smart way. Starving is so damn easy, because it’s left for the weak. Eating smart, now.. that’s hard. (I had a brownie today) BUT LIFE’S ABOUT BABY STEPS. ;) and you babies are sure damn stronger than you think you can be. x Be strong, you’re so NOT alone!!
Of course, this is typed after a massive late night run. So this may be my endorphins talking. ;) Love & Pancakesss. xoxo
